What we did in class today:
Sorry guys, sick today (actually all weekend).
Hopefully you were able to complete the assignment in class–read “The Prison” (155) and answer these–The Prison reading questions.
HW:
- We are finally switching over to a new platform. Check your email for the invitation to participate in a class at Canvas.instructure.com. Click on the link to get started. It will take you to the course, you can look around, but make sure you accept the invitation. Otherwise, you’ll remain pending. Announcements, assignments, etc will be here from now on.
- The test on the 4 stories will be on Thursday.

- Began Saki’s “Sredni Vishtar”
- On a sheet of paper, record questions that you have about the short story
- Briefly describe the similarities between the stories of Hawthorne, Wharton and Saki

- Read the Saki Bio and background (we’ll finish the story on Friday)
- Stay on track by reading “The Lady in the Looking Glass: A Reflection” by Woolf
